Secondnature cross the boundaries of art and design to create innovative and distinctive abstract metal sculpture.
Our unconventional approach to sculpture combines a graphic designer’s eye for line and pattern with a fine artist’s feel for materials and texture. The work is inspired by structure and pattern in nature focusing on silhouettes, shadows and movement of leaf, branch, light and flame and explores balance, symmetry and repetition.
Elements of chance and play are used to digitally create organic shapes which are then refined, developed and waterjet cut into edgy, dynamic, abstract sculptural forms.
